About Parcllwyd Cottage
Parcllwyd Cottage – is a detached self-catering 3 bed comfortable cottage sleeping 5, situated on the outskirts of the village of Cilgerran, Nr Cardigan in Pembrokeshire. The cottage has private parking, open fire and feels home from home. The cottage is south facing and boasts beautiful views of the valley opposite.
On arrival you will discover a welcoming tray in the kitchen with tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits and in the fridge a carton of milk and a complimentary bottle of wine.
Dog Friendly Holiday Cottage - Visitors wishing to bring their pets with them are allowed providing the pets are not left in the cottage unattended or allowed upstairs or on any furniture. View our doggy information.
Young Families: We have facilities for young children and toddlers this includes a nappy bin, night light, stair gates, high chair and sterliser for the microwave for babies bottles.
All our prices include gas, electric, bed-linen, towels, dishwasher tablets (8 tablets per week) and a starter kit for the open fire.
On your day of arrival you can access the cottage from 4.00 pm and on your day of departure you must vacate the cottage by 9.00 am latest

Ground Floor
Downstairs the cottage has a lounge, dining room, kitchen and rear utilities room.
The Lounge has an open fire, TV with built in Free view, DVD player, Video player and matching three piece suite and an electric fire for those that don’t wish to use the open fire. The window is to the front and looks across the lane towards the footpath.
The Dining Room has table and chairs for six, large welsh dresser where information on places to visit can be found, electric fire and stereo player. Again the window is to the front of the cottage.
The Kitchen is to the rear of the cottage and is fully equipped with fridge, electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and breakfast bar complete with two stools.
The utilities room has a wash/dryer, small freezer and cupboard with wash basket, this also leads to the rear courtyard where there is a washing line, this area is fenced and gated and is secure for pets to be let out into, visitors are asked to remember to clean up behind their pets in this area.
There is also ironing board, iron and hoover provided.
The cottage is fully double glazed and has full central heating. The heating is set to come on and go off twice a day throughout the winter months and is turned off during the summer months.
The Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are 3 bedrooms, 2 are situated at the front of the cottage, one double and twin room and a single bedroom at the rear of the cottage. The double room, known as the Master Bedroom, has a double bed, TV with free view box, velux window to the rear and window at the front looking across the valley. The twin room has two single divans, velux window to the rear, small window to the rear and a front window looking across the valley.
The single room is at the rear of the cottage next to the bathroom and is equipped for young children. It has a single divan, travel cot and night light.
To the rear of cottage upstairs is the bathroom which has the usual WC, hand basin and shower.
Outside
Parcllwyd has a large garden which goes round the cottage. There is a picnic area where there is a patio set (table and chairs and sun shade), this is where visitors can have bbq’s if they wish. There are paths which you can wonder round to admire the views and plants, we advise caution when it is wet as some of the paths are made from slate and can be slippery.
